The Nepalese-born British Designer has redefined the luxury market through her innovative sustainable creations while empowering women in developing countries through sustainable projects since 1998. 

Winner of PETA Luxury Vegan Wedding Awards 2021, London based designer has been recognized by the media as “the dawn of the sustainable movement” and “the Greta of the Wedding World '' and was among the first to introduce sustainability to the UK bridal industry in 2011. 

Honored with several national & international awards for graceful creations and innovative approaches to empowering women in developing countries, one of the designer’s sustainable creations is preserved in The FASHION MUSEUM in Bath, UK. Amongst over 100,000 objects in the Museum collection ranging from Shakespeare era to today’s leading designers, Sanyukta Shrestha is the first designer of Nepali origin to be documented in the history of The Fashion Museum. 

While placing people and the planet at the heart of the strategy, operations, and culture, Sanyukta Shrestha integrates 360° sustainability by embracing innovation, a zero-waste approach, a slow and transparent supply chain, a minimal carbon footprint, and circular ecosystems to craft timeless, thoughtful and versatile pieces. Member of the British Fashion Council (BFC), Sanyukta’s designs have been worn by celebrities like Victoria’s Secret supermodel Candice Swanepoel, American girl band Fifth Harmony, and Game of Thrones prequel ‘House of the Dragon’ Star Bethany Antonia to name a few.
