In 2007 he showed his collection Hollywood at the Alta Moda Fashion Week with big success. His dresses were chosen for the final runway show of American Next Top Model and he dressed Tyra Banks. Several dresses of him were on the red carpet of the Oscars.
Addy van de Krommenacker also created many dresses for the Royal Family in Holland and he made a royal wedding dress for Princess Caroline Bourbon de Parme. With the inauguration of King Willem Alexander, he dressed 5 members of the Royal Family. Addy works a lot with pure silk materials.
For the catwalk dresses, he likes also to use the material of his vintage dresses and create a new design. As said by Addy, “It is really a pity and waste to make every year a whole new collection which you only use for the catwalk. Also, you get a lot of inspiration to work with materials of your own vintage dresses. You give the dresses a new life.”
